Now if we could only get that bum Von Miller.

Yep. The OL of the Broncos hasn’t ever been the star of the team. We abused them in the SB. They did too. I don’t take it as promising that we’ve lined up a mediocre OL a few years and injuries later.

They were during the Shanahan days. Anyone that guy trotted out at RB was good for 1000+.

For those asking about funds, my limited knowledge:

Currently we have $7m in cap space, probably need $10m for drafted and undrafted players. (-$3m)

Post June 1 cut for Luke nets $10m. ($7m)

Possible Davis cut nets $3m immediately. ($10m)

Before the Schofield signing, I expect that we  had $8-$10m to play with considering these moves. We can make one or two more signings. Lets get that CB.

I know, I played FF. I meant to say while Miller’s been there, i.e. this past decade (since we just started a new one). Matt Paradis and Michael Schofield were in HS when Shanahan was the coach. Okung was in college. In the past decade the Broncos OL has been pretty mediocre and since Elway’s been the GM he’s been trying to improve it but 1st round picks like Bolles haven’t panned out. Anyway, I can’t see how anyone is really excited having 60% of an average OL now that they are a few years older and 2 of the 3 have had recent serious season ending injuries. It’s sure does seem like we’ve given up on Little already. What a waste the past two drafts have been. Pick 37 and likely can’t crack the lineup until year 3 at the earliest? Taken before 3 seriously good C/Gs who could have really helped in Risner, Jenkins and McCoy. So glad the Marty and Ron combo got broken up.

We had way too many holes to properly address them in one off-season. We always knew there were going to have to be a lot of bandaids.
