Didn't say he was.

Bottom line is Fournette has been widely shopped with no interest.  Heard an interesting comment on the Zach Gelb show where he quoted an NFL GM saying "NO THANKS" when asked if he had any interest in Fournette....Gelb cited Fournette's disruptive locker room presence as the reason he's not of interest to any other teams.

Will be interesting to see if Jag's cut Fournette loose with no compensation....seems like they are on the verge of doing so.

We'll see on Reid...if he gets offered the veteran minimum he'll be lucky.

Gotcha....miss read that...if hes cut I think he would be signed within a week.

Not having an Oline takes its toll

Cam gets beat up, Allen gets shell shocked and scared.

Hoping Teddy and his knees do not take as much abuse or we will be in big trouble.  However, I think Brady is much better at using the talents, or lack thereof, to design plays around our weaknesses and plays to our strength.  Hopeful that Teddy has a surprisingly good season.  I think Brady liked seeing him run the New Orleans offense at a high level.

Yep! I sure didn't see that coming!

Don't think anybody did.

There was speculation of Dalton to the Patriots long before he was ever even released, and speculation of him joining the Jaguars because of Jay Gruden, but I can't recall a single person connecting him to the Cowboys.

Apparently the reason is that he wants to spend more time with his family in Texas.

I hope the Cam nut huggers finally realize something.  As great as you think a player was or might be, you do not "commit" to guy whose future is cloudy.  Cam wanted a long-term extension.  Now he can be acquired with no trade and he is sitting on the side of the dance floor like Honey Boo Boo at her prom.  Bill Belichick has Stidham and Hoyer as his QBs, and he passed on Cam.  Maybe he will live to regret it, but I doubt it.

Oh how the huggers got mad at the realists. You called us haters and racists. That had to be it, right?  It could not be that you have the business sense of a drunken sailor at port in Thailand--it had to be personal because Cam Newton is superman. Heck,  we had a contract with Cam for $100+m and he did not earn it--but you wanted to pay him 150% of that amount for another 4 years---while making excuses for 2016, 2018, and 2019.

Now Cam is out there on the open market, where his value is not attached to some emotion.  Breaking up is hard to do, but it is necessary at times.  Money talks--and a lot of money is thrown around by teams desperate for a QB---and Cam sits there with a cardboard sign as traffic whizzes by.  That, my friends, is the reality of this business-why you do not spend $100m on some emotional flashback.

actually i’m gonna quote the whole post because it’s so funny lol

Bill Belichick already has Stidham and Hoyer as his QBs,so it is possible that the "Over The Hill", "Injury Prone", Cam Newton may not be able to beat those two out and will be riding the pine until they release him.

Praying for a man’s downfall. Some people are so miserable.

Your twisted mindset may see it that way but stating facts is not praying for someone's down fall. I suppose you would like it better if someone posted that Cam would be the 2020 NFL MVP and lead the Patriots to the Super Bowl.

This fan base is gonna deserve going back to irrelevance and being the laughingstock of the division until Brees and Tom retires. Honestly, I think they want it. Badly.
