NFL.com reports Bengals Releasing Andy Dalton

The Bengals unofficially moved on from Andy Daltonlast week with the selection of Joe Burrow at No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Now the transition is official.

Cincinnati is releasing Dalton after nine seasons, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

Yep, the Patriots were patient and it could pay off for them. Now they could be getting a starting quality QB probably cheaper than we got Bridgewater.

Guy is a JAG and should have been out years ago when it was obvious that he wasn't able to win in the playoffs. They did him dirty for sure but he is a backup or a starter on a team going nowhere except a top pick. NE can probably squeeze a couple of wins out of him with Bill but more like Bledsoe than Brady.

Never wanted and happy he isn't here. Bullet dodged for sure.

Wouldn't be surprised if they signed Joe Flacco given their familiarity with him.
