False and false.

Kyle Bailey walked listeners through it in detail today and did so citing a source in the Panthers front office...

...the Panthers absolutely were interested in and planning to bring Cam back under the terms of his contract --- Cam was unwilling to live up to his word and the agreement he signed.

As such, when Rhule made his comments they were accurate and true....things changed later on when Cam and his camp made unreasonable demands.

I completely forgot about that poster until I saw you quote him.

Ignore him, you won't miss anything valuable.

Agreed.  If we are not going to compete for another 2 years let’s not run the tires off him in the meantime.

I also agree CMC needs to be fresh in the 4th qtr and at the end of the year.  RR and Norv were trying to save their jobs and kept him out there is games that were blowouts.

I also like how Rhule spoke on people in positions of leadership making decisions so that they don't get fired rather than so they can compete. Seemed like something that might have been brought to his attention about previous leadership in the organization in regards to the direction they are wanting to avoid.

Show me someone involved with the NFL on a day to day basis that does not lie to the media on a regular basis. It’s what they do.

Excellent point.

Does anyone really believe Riverboat wanted to allow music during practice?

Think he will be doing so in DC?

If they don't buy into this system all his motivational speeches will mean nothing. This could be a very good hire or a very bad one. I don't think there is any middle ground.....this team won't be mediocre, it will be very good or very bad.

Here's the thing: I'm not really all that sure that Rhule has a "system".

Brady has a system. Snow has a system. Not sure you can say Blackburn has a system but it's special teams, so...

Head coaches need to be able to manage games, for certain. But do they have to be great Xs and Os guys? Not necessarily, not if they know how to pick coordinators that are.
