How many draft analyst are always right? How many have ever missed? If you can point me to someone who is 100% accurate I will concede to your train of thought, til then mel is as good as if not better than anyone else, none of us would be paying the draft any attention if it wasn't for him.

I don't watch the draft to hear Mel Kiper spout his nonsense.  As a matter of fact I won't watch it with the sound up if he's on there.  He's terrible and even his fellow commentators know it.  They all make fun of him.

Brown had 13 sacks in his career and if you think he's gonna give you 8-10 a season in the nfl vs better competition your not thinking logically. Again he will be good at what were asking him to do and make those around him better but I don't believe in taking a none get to the qb guy that high.

Gross- mah is a intriguing pick... but he doesn't really show consistency or even the technique to walk in a day 1 starter.. its a gamble and I understand why... he was the best pass rusher left on the board but I dunno...

Chinn- now I love this pick! The guy has all the tools and freaky athleticism to justify the trade up. All it cost us was Kyle Allen a backup basically. He can walk in a starter or athlete contribute right away in packages. He is my favorite pick of the draft. The rest of the guys are just close your eyes and hope for the best.

The riot report british podcast guys were saying the same about Brown.  Not a bad pick but his lack of pass rush is going to hinder him and probably not going warrant the 7th pick.

 

I dont mind the brown pick but I really wanted Simmons.  Looking back in hindsight I wonder how our defense would have looked with Simmons and Chinn?

I mean what is nonsense in a sea of hypotheticals... he's right as much as any others.. he loved Josh Allen and Daniel Jones others didn't. He is far from terrible.. you dont acend to the top draft analyst being terrible. He created the market for draft scouting as far ad tv goes. As far as mocking him sure, it's fun to get some chuckles out of him because he's so passionate about his opinion. 

He gets pissed when you tell him he is wrong and thats what they mock and I find it amusing as well. I'm old school I guess.. I'm a kiper fan as far as I'm concerned he should be inducted into the NFL hall of fame for his contributions to this game, because without him we wouldn't even be discussing this.

Decent draft but man I’d really like the oline to be addressed. Call me skeptical but the Panthers trying to be the first team ever in 12 years to make it deep in the playoffs without a top ranked oline is a bit ambitious for a new coaching staff imo
 

once they finally address it it will take 2 years to fix/get to playoff caliber imo whether it be experience and grooming or picking players

I agree with their assessment then. But if you listen to a lot of opinions around here...Brown has tremendous pass rush potential and comparing him to fletcher cox.. im like huh...
