Who was the last FCS QB to be a Top10 pick? I'll hang up and listen.

Sometimes it’s better to just keep quiet instead of announcing to everyone just how little you know. In your case that sometimes is all the time.

Ouch. Madwolf is mad now. Embarrassing that he didn’t know they’re both from the same school

Plus the coaches might not be able to practice there plays for the time needed.. going to be like as a kid drawing plays on your hand in the huddle!! U go left, u run for the end zone and fake hand-off!! And going oh yeah block the big guys!! Defense be using one Mississippi.. two Mississippi to rush!! So equals not a great record.. 3-4 wins

For argument sake, say we miss out on Fields and Lawrence, do we trade back to land QB #3 AND our future LT?

Probably take the OT from Oregon and then take a qb in the 2nd thats not quite ready and sits behind teddy for a year.

The only thing about waiting until the 2nd is usually a QB or two gets trendy and while they had been solid 2nd rounders the entire time leading up to the draft, they get snagged in the 1st.  Jordan Love was that guy this year in what was a shallow QB class.

If none of the QBs are there though for the love of god, can we please take an elite Tackle? Watching our QBs die every snap kills me inside.

Actually I would rather take the top LT remaining with the first pick.  Why?  Unless Teddy looks absolutely horrible this year, we still need our franchise LT.  Even If Okung plays decent this year, he's still not the long term solution.  I can deal with Teddy all 3 years of his deal if he plays above average, but Okung...I'd be shocked if he can once again become the player he once was.  A best he's a place holder.  At worst, we go into 2021 with a gaping hole at LT.

2021, same as 2020.

2020, same as 2019.

2019, same as 2019.

To be completely honest, I'll be shocked if Teddy makes it through the season.

Everyone raves about Joe Brady, but if you watched LSU play, Joe Burrow did some amazing things keeping plays alive with his legs.

True, but the plan all along this offseason was to fortify the offense through FA/trade and rebuild the defense.  It's possible to attack one side of the ball through a single draft, it's impossible to rebuild the entire team in a draft.  The team made it abundantly clear that's why they made the trade of Okung.  Yes, it was a win getting rid of Tuner's horrible contract, but it is zero coincidence the position they traded for was at LT.
