Were not getting a top ten pick next year...

I think you are horrifically wrong here and I can give you close to 10 reasons why we will be drafting in the top 3.

Having said that, assuming this isnt shtick I would love to hear your reasoning of why you think they will win 8 games or so.

Last year at this time everyone believe the Bills were looking at a Top 10 pick. It's impossible to know where things are going to shake out for the upcoming season.

True but Vegas normally nails the over under preseason win totals.  They are pretty close to accurate.  https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/preseason_odds.htm

In this link they have us at 5 wins with 3 other teams.  Skins, jags, bungles.  Ron isnt going to be that bad.  His defense is going to be sick.  Bungles have a lot of talent coming back and I think Burrow is that good.  The jags are going to be bad.  real bad.  Worse than us, thats a tough call but its going to be a race to the bottom.   https://www.covers.com/editorial/article/e31acb6d-8585-11ea-a987-125516351e3a/nfl-odds-win-totals

I don’t think a top 10 pick in 2021 is a lock either. I can see us losing a lot early due to the new regime and young roster but it wouldn’t surprise me if we see steady improvement in the form of wins from the middle to latter half of the season. The team may just overachieve and win 6-8 games. JMO

I don't think we finish in a place for Lawerence and probably Fields.... I think they go 1-2. Same goes for Micah Parsons..... He is the next Luke Kuechly....6'3" 245 w/ an unofficial 4.43 40 time. His closing speed, instincts and power are incredible. I'm sure he and YGM have chemistry too from Penn State.

Lance and Newman will be more in our range, and I have a huge draft crush on Lance. Dude will be a baller - straight Randall Cunningham/Donovan McNabb vibes, but with more accuracy.

Patrick Surtain's kid should be next year's Okudah and prior to the injury, Dylan Moses was a beast at MLB for Alabama.

I think lacking a future cornerstone MLB and CB1 are the final two pieces in our defensive puzzle. Pride can eventually be our CB2 with DJax in the slot, and Robinson/Chinn are our future safety tandem. D-Line is 75% set and Roy should be our eventual rotational DT in a couple of years.

OL is the wildcard, but if Okung can groom Little and Moton lives up to what we believe he can be, our bookends are set. I think one of Daley or Miller (maybe both) can pan out at guard.  That leaves center after Paradis' contract is up.

Trey Lance vs Jeremy Chinn...

Thats really based on nothing at all.  Just a gut feeling from you.  Whereas I can give you a lot of reasons why we are going to stink and when you add them all up its going to be a brutal season.

1. New coach - Who knows if he is good or not, we hope but this is his first rodeo

2. New coordinators- see above plus adding the fact its 2 new systems and there are no mini camps

3. Our talent or lack thereof on the oline.  Not only do we lack talent with have zero depth

4. Our lack of depth on the dline

5. Losing our leader and play caller at linebacker

6. The lack of depth at linebacker

7,  Lack of talent at corner and depth

8. Teddy bridgewater - we dont know much about him or if he can make it 16 games

9. Our schedule is brutal and our division looks like it will be insanely good

I probably could go on but if you bundle all of those above together it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that we are going to be bad this season.  My main concern is the oline and keeping Teddy healthy

The athletic had a great piece on him and I am intrigued.  His stats are insane.

Go check out the dime he drops at the end of the first half. I’m definitely intrigued by him as well.

I’ve watch a lot of him and Newman already and if I had to pick today id take Lance over Newman.

Where do you see wins this season (assuming it happens)?

I see 5 to 6 winnable games and that's assuming we split with ATL and either TB or NO because its a division game and those are always tight/weird. I like our chances at against LAC with either Tyrod or their rook. Trubustky doesn't scare me with CHI. LVR with Carr and DEN with Lock are beatable.

1:07.11  timestamp.  Thats a great and ballsy throw.  Pretty damn good.  His release is tight and quick.

He seems to do a great job of going through his progressions as well.

And just because they run the sh!t out of him he isn’t a run first QB. He has the pocket awareness and keeps his head up when extending plays

Lance is an interesting prospect.  This game though, he was a good game manager.  Kept the chains moving and the SIU offense off the field.  Tight game until late.  Chinn isn't a pile on guy.  However, in the NFL it take more than one gut to make a tackle sometimes.  He needs to help finish off guys.  That was my biggest take away from Chinn.

Chinn’s awareness in zone coverage is something I feel needs to improve
