Also, after seeing the trade for Goodwin btwn Philly and SF, I really don't want to trade Samuel. They essentially swapped spots in the 6th round moving 20 slots. That's it.

The trade scenarios being discussed on here were insanely overvaluing Samuel.

I was wondering why anyone would think we’d trade him. If anything we could use 1 more WR. Once teams start cutting players I hope and feel we will be picking up another starting caliber (4th/5th WR) wideout.

I doubt we add any other WRs. You have to remember, when/if we go 5 wide, CMC will be one of those five wides.

I agree with this but the only thing that’s surprised me about the offseason is we haven’t brought in any skill positions that understand Brady’s offense, I was hoping or at least one.

Bridgewater. The only reason he's here is because he understands Brady's offense. Why else do you pay a mediocre QB legit starting QB money?

Yes but a WR or RB that did would have been great hell even Thaddeus Moss as an UDFA but I guess he’s going to start from scratch.

Teddy is earning the lowest amount of just about any starting QB, I dont get all the hate for the guy. Its not like hes earning top 5 QB money.

In the coming season Teddy is going to serve up massive amounts of crow to his detractors and I cannot wait to watch him do so!

In the next off-season the Panthers will extend Teddy through the 2025 season -- you heard it here first

It was rumored that the bears were negotiating with him, and most people thought he would get a deal in between Brissett (15 mil a year) and Foles (22 mil a year). We might have paid a little over market value but not much. He was the highest paid backup QB last season at 7.2 mil. The saints just gave hill 16 mil to be a backup/gadget guy, so the overpay you are insinuating is not that huge of a deal. 

If he ends up sucking we can cut him after year 2 with only a 5 mil dead cap hit.
