This seems a tad risky to bring in a questionable character guy on a team with new coaching staff that just gutted all it's veteran leadership. Who is gonna keep this guy on the straght and narrow?  If it works great, if it doesn't you potentially have a locker room problem or a distraction. Maybe make Derrick Brown his rookie camp/training camp roomie, since he's notably high character...

Know nothing about him but he has some juicy ball skills.

More coverage help on the back end and honestly, we can use it 

Probably won't start this year but has a chance to make his mark in sub packages as a deep Saftey and possibly on special teams.

We got a lot younger and more promising on defense. It'll be interesting to watch for sure at the very least.
