We got 3 players that had all been consistently mocked in the first round

As an avid mock draft viewer / creator, one of the most exciting things about this draft is that we landed 3 players that had all appeared in the first round of mock drafts - consistently.

Derrick Brown has obviously been a top 5 player on most boards, but YGM had been seen as a mid first round pick - as high as 16 to the Falcons. Jeremy Chinn had been mocked as high as #23 to the Pats as well.

The last time this happened was probably the Beason / Kalil / Jarrett draft.

I have not even the first complaint of this draft so far. Day 3 is honestly just gravy but I will be keeping a close eye. Hoping for a CB early today but I want Lynch too. As we saw in 14 and 15 if we can get pressure then yes even Corn "Godforsaken" Elder could be decent

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
