The 4th Round Big Board for non-scoffers

Biadasz scares the crap out of me and don't want.

Dude was a cant miss 2 years ago, projected 1st round.  He had some injury and looked terrible/not the same this year.

We currently have 1 of those as our starter that we're trying to replace.

I like him, but I heard some injury stuff on him.  Sorta like a Bradberry?  I am not sure what kind of CBs they are looking for---To be honest, he is in play here--I missed it.  Good catch.  What do you think of Hall?

That’s one of the biggest things I wanted to figure out from this draft.  Is Snow gonna play some freaking man coverage.  Or are we relegated the the slow death of a thousand short passes like RR’s stagnant old defense was.
I want some damn man.  Doesn’t have to be all the time. But if we continue with the new regime to play 10 yards off on 3rd and 3 I will loose it.

I still have no indication.

My pick is Robertson also. They have had multiple meetings with the kid.  He may be short but the kid is a baller.  Not afraid to tackle.

If he is gone give the OL some love so we don’t kill another QB.

Scares the crap out of you as a 4th round pick? That seems a bit extreme. He had a surgery to “clean up his hip.” Id take the chance on him

Get that center from Wisconsin. Let him play guard until we can cut paradis as soon as it’s financially feasible.

There’s a good chance Gettleman takes him just before us.

Gettleman passed on a center with their last pick because Peart was rated so much higher than any center on their board.

Gotta think he address that today right away

He broke his ankle playing special teams. He was potentially a first rounder, prior to that.

Scares the crap out of me.

Because we're trying to run our starting Cebter out of town who used to be good then didnt look the same after his injury.  To draft another Center that used to be good but wasnt the shell of himself after a injury.

Its a risk that id rather not take.

The scouting i read says he hasnt looked like the same player since that hip injury. That said before the hip he was arguably a second round guy. I just hate taking a guy hampered by any injury to replace a guy who may have the same issues (Paradis). Still not a terrible risk at all in the 4th. Could end up a starter in year two (and a steal) if he fully recovers.

Gotta take some risks in these rounds, unless you are only looking for backups.

That’s fair. But to me rounds 4-7 are all mostly crapshoots. These are prospects that are not starting material and have issues. This is when you take chances on players you think could be backups or possibly coached up into starters. These are not sure bets.

At this point don't fixate on a major need like CB simply take whoever is the best player on your board regardless of position.

I am liking the picks so far, def scratching my head at giving our 5tth away with all the holes but it is what it is.  At some point, hopefully the 4rth and beyond we start loading up on oline prospects.  This is getting crazy if we go defense again.  We will be kicking the can down the road too far.   I say roll the dice with Biadasz if he is there.  Let him play guard and move him over to c in 2021.  It looks like for 2021 we will have a new, LT, (possible LG), center, RG, and I am assuming we resign moton but who knows.  That is a lot of turnover again on the offensive side.  And I am 94% sure we are going qb at the top of the next draft so he will be waiting in the wings for when (if) we starting losing in 2021

    • At this rate, maybe he'll be a decent 8-9 QB on his 3rd HC by year 6. Standards are so low around here now. Tepper has done some serious damage to the fan base.
