The Panthers have the consensus top draft so far?

I’m very excited to see what Rhule does to the Panthers. I feel like he will be a hell of a lot better coach than Ron. Might take a season or two to iron out the holes, but watch out after that.

Loved this draft, potential to be the best in a long time.  I don't expect 7 rookies to turn us into contenders right away, but we will see these guys battle and get better. This is just one step in the rebuild, but it was a good step.

Lmao, last week everyone wanted to fire Hurney and now we had a draft where we hit on 7 picks.

Even if Brown is amazing, DTs can only do so much in the NFL. 

It's amazing every team in NFL history up to this week would call it sheer insanity to completely ignore one side of the ball in the draft.

But I do see your point. Just don't forget that he played in the SEC. So his competition was drafted to play on Sundays. I'd be more concerned if he dominated at DII - see Amini Silatolu (in hindsight, that was fool's gold).

He did dominate LSU, and a few other teams. I'll give him that. God do I hate the SEC.

And we got better on offense. This team has a top 5 offense, this team now has no hope to even make the playoffs in 2020. We went a whole decade without spending 1 1st round pick on the offensive line and sit and cry and wonder why Cam is gone. Drafting Short, Star, Ealy, Butler, Burns, and spending hundreds of millions of dollars on underwhelming lineman this past 10 years... I'm sorry for hoping that we literally don't do the thing that has us losing in the first place, obsessing over one position.

I don't care who you draft, we gave away a 5th round pick to draft a Safety that many analysts felt the Panthers would've got at 69. Lineman bust just about as much as anyone else, Jadeveon Clowney was a cant-miss prospect, now he is having trouble getting a decent contract.

I'm not even referring to Simmons, but Biggs was there in the 2nd round, and we spend our 2nd round pick on the freaking line. Literally, this is the same fugging GM that had us in the shitter to begin with, but I'm supposed to believe that Rhule with 1 year experience as a position coach is an immediate expert on NFL talent.

I don't really care and don't expect anyone to agree with me. You wanna tank a year away? Don't send me a bill for season tickets with a 3% increase.
