I agree with everything but the Burns fit in a traditional 4-3 thing.. I still don't understand the logic of that opinion..

He doesn't exactly excel in run support. He is not really a power guy, he's a speed guy. It doesn't make him a bad player, just a little less of a complete player. And that can all change/improve. He's gonna likely get stronger as he gets older.

While I like the start of the rebuild my expectations are really low for next year.  You are gonna have a whole new defense of young players with a restricted offseason.

And we have a new offensive scheme to implement without an offseason program.  A couple new starters on the OL with no time to gel.

We have a new college staff that will have some growing pains in the NFL.

While I think the future is bright I think the start of the season will be horrible.  We will be in the running for one of the top QB’s next year despite playing hard.

I think all of that is a rookie not being as strong as grown men.. And Rookies faced that.. A year or 2 in a pro nutrition and weight program changes that... Like you said as he gets older he'll get bigger and stronger..

Play the rookies. Let the rookies learn on the job. Build your culture. Be competitive in every game. Maybe trade KK or Paradis near the trade deadline. Lose. Embrace it. And if our prayers are answered we would have a chance at Trevor Lawrence or Josh Fields. Following year start winning more with a possible Super Bowl run the year after.

KK and Paradis are probably close to untradeable.
