I like the pick. The compensation wasn't horrible. It sounds like he's a great athlete that could play Safety, Slot, Nickle LB. I trust Rhule to put him in a position to produce. 

The small school second round picks are a concern... Why did we need to move up? Maybe we could have taken him in the 3rd.

No sir. A safety was picked one pick before the 3rd rounder we traded up from. Chinn was the consensus top ranked safety available. No way in hell you can be confident he would've been available at 69. We gave up a 5th round pick, which historically would turn out to be someone with maybe a 50/50 shot to even be on the team in 2021. Seems like a pretty damn reasonable concession.

Yall this was actually a great pick. The fact that we got him for Kyle Allen is awesome. He's an absolute beast. Everyone clamoring for Isiah Simmons should be very happy with this pick.

Honestly, I had no idea who this kid is. Doesn't take watching too much tape to see he is going to be something great out there.

'IMO, this has been a solid, maybe even great draft so far, on paper.
