Yeah, Gaulden was the least athletic DB at the combine and trying to switch positions. Chinn is on the opposite end of athletic. At least when coaches talk about his athletic ability, I’ll believe it. After their combines I laughed when Ron and Marty talked about the athletic ability of Little and Gaulden.

Id love this pick tons more if not for the past failures in 3rd projects form Herniay. Hes done this same move 4 times now and the results have been like a prolong depression in each case. Just waived Gaulden a CB/S combo that was a 2018 3rd.

I really like him athletically. 6'3" 220 with a 4.45 40, 20 reps, and 41" vertical is pretty damn freaky. Curious to see how we use him.

Yeah. I just see this as a classic reach. Did we give up a key pick in a 5th? No. But Hurney gets a crazy fixation on "his" guys and all too often makes a bad reach in the 2nd.
