curtis wouldn't ask for 15mil, funchess only got that high of a deal because it was a one year contract, to see if he could actually live up to his potential (answer was no).

Why wouldn’t he ask for that kind of money? What inside source do you have that has informed you that Samuel does not play this sport for money?

And if Samuel has another mediocre year, he is worth nothing. Take what you can get. He will only cost money or be worth nothing. We have the luxury to trade him now. We are in rebuild mode.

The kid from Memphis is a better version of Samuel

If he has the same year as last year, how would that decrease his value? Wouldn't it maintain his value (whatever that is right now)

He had 600+ receiving yards, 100+ rushing yards, and 7 TDs with nothing but bums throwing to him in a system that didn't know how to utilize him at all

Thad moss has 47 receptions last year in Brady’s offense....Samuel had 54 as the “1” receiver Rivera announced him as. In our offense Samuel will have less receptions.

Lol, Ronald is an idiot. DJ is clearly our #1.

54 receptions isn't bad as the clear #3 option in an offense that isn't slinging it around. CMC and DJ are going to command way more targets than Samuel

It would decrease his value by we wouldn’t get anything for him. We are not going to spend millions on another receiver unless it’s a true #1. You seem to be operating off of the assumption we intend resigning. There is a reason he is being shopped, we aren’t gonna keep him for he long run.

It’s going to be les this year as a #4 option. 54 is bad for “arguably the best receiver” on our roster as you said.

I don't know where you saw that I said he was arguably our best receiver. He is clearly worse than DJ (who is a legit #1 receiver) and CMC will command a lot of targets because of how good he is.

Robby Anderson is a deep threat receiver and will not have as many receptions or targets as Samuel. We will also have a much better QB throwing the ball with an OC that does a great job of spreading out receivers and creating mismatches on the field.

DJ Moore is better with the ball in his hands. Hence why he led the league in YAC

Well, I love DJ Moore.

But I largely talking Samuel > Robby when paired with Teddy.

Moore has always gotten more volume.  Justifiably so.  Better WR to date.  He has more time playing the position too.  Samuel slanted more as a RB than WR in college.  That has shown in his route running early on.

Moore is significantly better after contact.  Samuel is a more explosive runner IMO.  Two very different guys with the ball in their hands.

I wouldn’t of been opposed to a too good to pass up trade deal....but we are past that window for me.

My bad, that was @cra that said that. Too many convos going on at once. It'll be interesting to see what happens. In the end, my opinion is that the best value we can get from Samuel is right now via trade. We will though.
