Why do we have to lose him?? We have money next offseason and he can be tagged...

We are in a really good position to keep him for a couple reasons.

1. If he has an average year we resign him for AVERAGE money.

2. If he explodes this year we we resign him and have a great WR core.

2a.  He doesn't want to resign we tag him and make him do it again.

2b. He doesn's resign and we let him walk we likely get a 3rd round pick back for him.

Given the above it doesnt make sense to trade him for anything less than a high/mid 2nd round pick. I would prefer to keep him.

Ask yourself, if Samuel was part of their plan, why would the Panthers try to drum up interest in him?

Maybe he ends up staying and convinced them otherwise but as of today it’s quite clear

It's apparent your think the interest is 100% contrived.

Why would multiple teams be calling unless something was floated?  Jordan is just parroting what the front office is telling her

Because they like the player..

He is 23 year old with still alot of upside and  great potential and nfl experience..

Why wouldn't a team make a call to asked about a player?? Teams do this all the time..

I'm a 100% certain teams called about CMC availability before he signed his contract.. They do this all the time..

Have you just started learning about football??

What if the Redskins offered the 66th overall pick (2nd pick in 3rd round) straight up for Curtis?

I'd be sorely tempted. Rhule has been very active this off season at WR, more so than anywhere else. At 66, we could easily grab a starting G or C, TE, S, or a second CB. Hell, Rhule may just like the idea of picking "his guy" as a WR. Samuel will get his money next year, so getting something for him now makes since for a team that's rebuilding.

For the record, I like Samuel. He's obviously talented, or teams wouldn't be after him. I'm just doing the math as I see it.

Why wasn't it reported?

Let's assume this is true, the Panthers leaked Samuel is on the trading block...does that mean teams would still call if he's a bad as some this forum suggest he is?  Just because someone is on the trading block doesn't mean there is going to be interest.  Either coaxed or unsolicited, If the Panthers are getting calls, apparently some teams think Samuel isn't some JAG WR.

It literally says that exact thing  right here?? Hmmmmm

Do you have reporting saying "The Panthers are looking to trade Samuels"..

Ok it’s obvious you don’t understand how these things work and just how poorly Jourdan’s tweet aged with Ian reporting what he did soon after.
