I'm too deep in agreeing with the actual reporting that has been done on the subject..

I could be like you and do baseless speculation but I'd rather just go with the actual reporting and see what happens..

I'm sorry that's a problem for you...

I've tried to explain to you the errors in your thinking. Two people with actual sources with the team and a lot of insight in how NFL teams actually work behind the scenes have tried to explain to you the errors in your thinking. There's really nothing left to talk about. But I'm sure you'll find something anyway. LOL!

You're explaining to me the error in my opinion??

And you're doing this based off no facts just your opinion??

Do you not see the error in this exercise??

Reality check..

Linny you're a cynical person I am not.. You based your opinion on your personal preference to not trust the report  and your feelings towards your ability to "read between the lines ".. That is cool.. But it's not a fact base premise you're working with.. Its still just your opinion.. And ppl can have different opinions based on their "way of processing information"..

This issue is dead now guys.  If we were (which I doubted in the first place) going to trade Samuel, it would have been leading up to or during the draft.  At this point, most teams are essentially done building their top 53. There may be some movement at the bottom of the rosters, but hunting for key pieces is over with.  Some teams have elected to keep a spot or two open for FAs (like us) because their asking prices will soon drop.  League-wide trades however, will be negligible, if any.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if Samuel was traded at this point. I'm sure we had some WRs on our board and had things worked out differently, we very well maybe have drafted a WR in the first three rounds at which point Samuel may have been expendable. These types of situations likely happen behind the scenes far more than we realize.

Gotta realize, these guys are constantly spitballing. Very little of the spitballing results in an actual deal, but gotta do your do diligence.

“Listen, we talk to a lot of teams,” Quinn said, via MLive.com. “When we’re not on the clock, we talk to a bunch of teams, and it’s not just myself. We’ve got four or five people that make calls, so I’m not sure what that was about. But we didn’t have a trade.”
