DeAndre Hopkins just got traded for a washed up RB, a 2nd rounder, and a swap of 4th rounders. How in the hell are we getting a 2nd for Curtis Samuel?

Anything outside of a 2nd round pick this year and 3rd this year or next I wouldn’t even consider. Honestly tradition him would be dumb but if they feel there’s someone available in this draft that could replicate his production plus get more back form him why not. Sad to say but when his contract is up we might not be able to afford him any way.

The Browns traded a 4th and a 7th for Jarvis Landry. Samuel's best season isn't even close to Landry's worst.

Severely is an understatement.

Like I said I honestly believe, especially knowing Hurney, if he is traded it will simply be to move up either in the 2nd or 3rd round...and maybe something thrown in like a 5th/6th or hopefully a 4th for next year. 
 

If it were for a straight up pick, I’d imagine a top half 3rd rounder IF we are lucky.

They did because of his contract and the fact he made it clear he didn’t like it there. The difference in this situation are teams are calling us the Dolphins were letting other teams know he was available

Nobody is SEVERELY overrating Samuel on this board. If teams are calling then the Panthers know they could get a haul of decent picks for him. If they don’t get it they can stand pat and have a good 3rd WR that has immense potential. He’s not star #1 WR but he sure as hell is better than most teams slot/3 WR.
