Brown played 10 more games than Cox and 8 more than Jones

Atkins with the most

And if you break it down by average sacks a game, it means that Browns still averaged more sacks a game.

I don't think you ended up saying what you thought you were saying.

Jones = .22 sacks per game average

Cox = .21 sacks per game average

Atkins = .22 sacks per game average

Brown = .27 sacks per game average

You don't understand, the stats say he had more sacks in MORE games though Linville. There's no possible way he could have both had more sacks, in more games, and also produced more sacks per game. That would be MADNESS!

Why are people crying about this pick? He was a top 5 player in the draft, we got him at 7. He has 4 years of consistent play against top level competition and he fits our weakness (run defense). People are crying we took a DT so high, but say we should have taken a LB instead?? I’m so confused. It was a great pick, now let’s hope Rhule and his staff pick these next few rounds...

It's almost as if they didn't watch as Luke made hardly any difference last year and was visibly frustrated after practically every play because our terrible DL couldn't keep him clean so that he could do what he does best.

Giving context to a tweet?

Go make another fail of a thread while you’re on a roll today

This is what happens when people read a few mock drafts, couple big boards and form an opinion of players without watching their actual game footage.  Derrick Brown was a disruptor in his games. Whether pushing the pocket in the pass game or blowing up the run in the backfield.

He did this with consistency in every game I watched, including against top teams like Like LSU and Alabama.

Anyone who hasn’t but wants to learn more about him here’s a couple quick links to his every snap in those games. And no it’s not coaches film, but it’s the same format you watch the panthers in every week, plus you don’t need to see the “coaches film” to follow the line of scrimmage play anyway.

Again this isn’t highlights, but rather every snap played condensed into short videos.

One more for good measure

The context you gave, intended to show that Brown was worse than the Tweet showed.

However, you instead proved that he was much better that the tweet showed.

May be you should just walk away from the keyboard.

I think that had more to do with the 3-4...Brown wouldn't have made a difference then... its not a bad pick , just hard to see such a talent go by when he was ours for the taking..this is just a different road. I think the long term build would give us plenty of DT opportunities...can't say the same for a Simmons opportunity
