Fixing the defense quick

Not wrong. Control the lines, control the game. Unfortunately, our O-Line was atrocious so no amount of defensive linemen is going to help that.

But still it would be nice to have a respectable defense again. Remember when we were getting gashed on the ground and then we drafted KK and Star and all of the sudden we had a good defense. It makes a big difference to have a couple anchors in the middle.

I think we we can add a decent option at IOL in the mid-rounds. I'm worried about OT long-term.

It wouldn’t matter if we go secondary with the next 7 picks. We ain’t stopping Brady, Brees and Ryan. The only way is to put them on their  asses

Exactly. This team could have 2 pro bowl CBs and still get roasted by the Saints, Falcons, and now the Bucs. You MUST pressure these QBs while maintaining a strong run defense. That can ONLY be accomplished up front.

No LB, or CB or FS is gonna stop Brees/Thomas/Kamara, Ryan/Julio/Ridley, or Brady/a whole slew of mofos.

It depends on how the picks in front of us go. Jaylon Johnson or Fulton. Chinn or Digger if ya want a SS.  I'd rather take Xavier, Delpit or Winfield Jr.    In third Lamar Jackson, troy pride jr, amik Robertson or Darney holmes are guys who could help.

If they don’t get to qb the Brady and Brees and even Ryan will light us up

Got to get some DBs from somewhere

I’m building for long term, not this upcoming season. I could care less if we’re dead last in allowing passing yards. Build the DL now and suck for Trevor. If we’re that worried about the secondary then why did we sign Boston and Burris to start and let Bradberry walk?

2nd: Yetur Gross Matos

3rd: James Lynch

If Rhule really wants to fix the defense, that’s how you start. Brady, Brees and Ryan will be running for their lives.

Burns - Brown - Lynch - Yetur

Going to be fun to watch for the next few years.

If they dont go oline between here or the 3rd then its going to feel like groundhog day next season when our qb is getting demolished

If we are tanking for trevor (which I think we are) then we will be trotting him out there behind yet another patchworked line.  We need some talent in here now to get some experience for him next season

thats the gettleman/hurney method.  We need home grown bodies that have developed chemistry and experience together.  Paradis obviously isnt the answer and God knows what we are trotting out there in the guard spots in 2020.

If josh jones is there pull the trigger.  Hopefully one of the centers fall to the 3rd

Moton will be extended. I’m giving Little time to prove that he can be a starter. Guards are easy to find in the mid rounds. We just need a center of the future. We fugged up with Matt Kalil bc they wanted to make Ryan happy instead of signing Okung at the time. I’m not taking Josh Jones just because he’s available and plays a position of needs. Six OTs have already been drafted. I don’t want the 7th best. I’ll take Yetur or Epenesa who you could argue, is the 2nd best DE in this draft.
