But, this franchise has proven in the past that they do not know how to tank properly. Rhule and Brady must have not like Tua enough or believe that he can be fully healthy again to not trade up to #4. Green Bay took Aaron Rodgers while they still had Favre. Last night, they “traded” up and took Jordan Love in the “1st round” to be Rodgers replacement knowing that they have bigger needs elsewhere.

I thought you guaranteed we were going to trade up for Tua.

We are much more competitive this year than people give us credit for. Treavor would be like a dream. This team is better than it was last season though. Significantly.

On offense we had Allen starting most of the year. Teddy is a huge upgrade. DJ and Curtis have another tear under their belt and Anderson is a legit #2. CMC is still getting better. Our Oline will have the chance to come into the season healthy and hopefully this year they can stay that way. Our play calling and scheming will be miles ahead of where it was last year.

On defense we had a banged up DLine that has already improved massively with Brown and a retuning KK. Losing Bradberry hurt but we will likely replace him today. It won’t be an upgrade but I’m a deep draft class, we should be able to find a solid starter for us going forward. We cannot ever replace Luke but if you have to lose a GOAT, LB is one of the easier positions to lose one at.

Ohr play calling and motivation was trash last year. I genuinely believe we will be more competitive this year than last year. I was on board for tanking for Treavor but that is just simply not at all what we are planning on doing.

Tampa, Atlanta and Nee Orleans are going to beat are ass badly this year,.. like not even close.

What are all you tankers going to do if we play well this season - if Teddy and the offense are really effective?

He's young and mentally tough, having come back from a horrid injury. He's familiar with the system we are going to run. We've got weapons on that side of the ball.

All I want is to win. Waiving the white flag for a hypothetically successful NFL player is absurd to me.

Brown makes us much better as a team, shoring up the most desperate need. That's why we picked him. He's an *elite* prospect at an incredibly important position where we also happened to be in need.

If we were truly trying to get the #1 next year we would have been forced to trade CMC.  With him in our offense, we simply won't be capable of losing enough games to get to #1.  We're going to win 4-8 games next year.  I'm not convinced Tampa will be able to protect an aging Brady who had clearly lost a step last year.  I'm never sold on the Falcons being anything, I mean, they find a way to throw away even the most favorable position.
