Great pick.  I think Simmons was the better college football player but I think Brown is the best pick for the Panthers.

Without fixing the DL, nothing else on D matters. We had the best LB I've ever seen playing for us last year and it didn't matter. We had the top free agent CB playing for us last year. It didn't matter. Gotta fix that DL. This was a no brainer pick. Glad we didn't botch it.

This is an awesome pick. He is the best defensive player in the draft.  With him and KK up the middle our defense just got much better.  Hurney just  hit on another one.

2013 is a perfect example of the difference a quality interior and DL can make. I don't follow college football so have no opinion on the player himself but the position can absolutely be a difference-maker.

The 2013 Panthers had Luke and Thomas Davis... The 2020 Panthers have Shaq Thompson and Donte Jackson.

Fletcher Cox was pretty big for the Eagles. Chris Jones helped the Chiefs defense get some momentum in their run last year.

Incredibly safe pick. In the top 10, you need great not good. With Simmons sitting there looking like a generational talent at a position where we just lost a generational player, I'm very disappointed.
