The nfc south screams offense with Tampa getting Brady and Gronkowski to add to there already dangerous offense with Mike Evans Chris Godwin and Cameron brate , with Atlanta adding one of the best running backs in Todd gurly to add to there high power offense and with the saints adding Emmanuel Sanders to one of the best Offenses in the nfl. Should we follow the Trend and build our offense this year  by taking a top talent at wr like juedy or Lamb to add to mccaffrey dj Moore Robby Anderson and curtis Samuel ? Rhule is a great offensive mind and looking at his college seasons his teams were based around scoring more than his opponents. I like brown and Simmons but those guys alone won’t stop these high power offenses and our past we were focused on defense but the trend in the nfl is high power offenses I believe the most bullish move to make is to take whoever we believe is the best wr at 7.  I know the mocks have jeudy and lamb going just outside the top  7 but they were some of the most dominant receivers we have seen in college football in years . What y’all think ? Happy almost draft day .

We’re already well set at WR and it’s not like Teddy will be able to take advantage of it like an elite QB could. I wouldn’t see much point in going WR early this draft unless we trade Moore for a boatload of picks.

If we take Jeudy, be prepared to give up 40 a game. We gave up 30 a game with Luke, Bradberry, Poe, McCoy, Addison, Poe, Cockrell, Butler and Reid. If we don’t go D at 7, hold on to your hats we are going to be ringing that bell in a bad way.

If we really do like the 2021 QB’s, we’re going to have to be terrible this year. The only way we lose enough games is if we continue to build the offense (receiver, o-line) into a juggernaut, but be historically bad on defense and give up an embarrassing amount of PPG. Then get your QB next year, then all defense the picks after that.

I get tired of everyone saying let's play defense. Do y'all really think we have a chance next two or three years anyway with Bucs-Brady, Saints-Brees, and Atl-Ryan and all their stars on offense. Hell no why not build offense and then work on defense as we go. Damn that's all we got to look forward too, we ain't winning this division next couple years anyway. SMH

Rhule is a great offensive mind?  You guys are getting carried away with this coach worship thing.  Everyone expecting Brady to be some offensive guru is setting themselves up for disappointment.  The guy has never called a game but yet he's the next great Mastermind.   Funny stuff.

Or we could buck the trend.  We have weapons. We just have NO defense. Similar train of thought. We are not winning any shootouts vs ryan Brady and brees either so.... Why not improve the defense and go offense next year?  Trust the way to beat Brady is interior pressure, the way to beat ryan is coverage, and yep beers will crumble if outside pressure can get there.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
