I would guess they brought him in to help establish what they plan to do with drills and things in camp, not that they expect the guy to start playing on Sundays or even make it out of training camp. I wouldn't over-react to this.

I don't have an issue with it. Perhaps Rhule views many of these players as a medium to help translate culture that he intends to establish. In the end, he won't be on the 53 (in all likelihood) so what does it matter?

Adam Schefter reported earlier today that Colin Thompson accepted Panthers offer over offers from the CFL,  AAF, and the Philadelphia Sanitation Division. Huge get for Hurney
