Dude sucks. Expect him to start at least 7 games for us next year.

Move over Sam Mills statue--their is a new bust coming to Charlotte.

(See what I did there?  Played on the word "bust".)

At the end of the day, does it matter too much who we sign as a camp body that has no chance of making the team? Not really. I guess Rhule might be throwing a bone to a former player that I presume made a good impression during their years together. But yeah, on face value it seems like a silly signing of someone whose production doesn't merit sniffing an NFL roster. If it represents a trend where we overvalue his former players at the detriment to the team (e.g. overdrafting Baylor players), then I'll be angry.

Who cares? The 90 man roster is just bodies. I don’t care if they want guys who are familiar with their drills or schemes, etc. to make camp smoother for the real players who will make up the 65. With 8 draft picks and UDFAs along with other teams cut downs, we'll have the 65 or so roster/PS folks. This guy will be in the late 80s and won’t sniff the PS.

Not just throwing a bone. It’s a guy who knows Rhule’s terminology and required effort. Peer pressure is powerful and if a guy is working his ass off for the coach knowing he won’t make the team it might make some rookies who will make the team word harder.
