To have Tua at 5 and a Tackle to protect him.

This is the scenario I've been on for weeks. It makes sense unlike half the crap mocks I see online.  Between delusional homers dreaming up ways to get like 2 or three 1st round picks and "$PORTS WRITERS" disregarding common sense and trade value charts having us do dumb stuff. Recent CBS mock has us trading with jags and ATL. 7 to 9 for a 4th rounder wtf. Then from 9 to 16 for an undisclosed pick. But looking at Atlanta's pick it would be a 3rd and 4th.  So trading down 9 picks( 500 PT value) to help a division rival and only get a third and two 4ths.  Ready for the madness to end.

Trading with Jags for an extra mid round pick once we’re on the clock could make sense.

The jags are rumoured to want Derrick Brown. I’ve seen a few mocks with AZ taking Brown, so it could make sense.

For a 4th rounder though? Picks 11 to 18 are the sweet spot

Further down its too much a drop and moving only two picks seems redundant

Moving down 2 spots if the Jags confirm to us that they’re taking Brown guarantees us one of our trade back targets while picking up an extra pick.

Might as well

If we can trade back to the 13-17 range and then draft one of Wirfs/Wills/Thomas I would be happy

I agree. As much as Brown makes sense for us given need and value, adding some extra picks on a team in need of so much, makes sense to me.

Yeah, that's not how trades work. The Jags wouldn't tell us who they were targeting with that pick.

They don’t HAVE to tell us of course not but it’s something you can ask them to do as part of the deal.

At this point Id feel pretty confident that they wouldn’t take one of our guys anyways

They're trading back for Lamb or Henderson. In that order.

You have been spot on with your predictions for the draft.  I would be fine with either.
Damn. Lamb.  It would be a damn track meet of games next year.  At least fun to watch.
Lamb And Anderson on the outside and Moore and Samuel inside.  Holy hell.

Depends on the rumor of MIA passing on a QB with their first pick. If they take one of the OTs or someone like Simmons or Okduah, then there would be a chance that our "big 3" of Okudah, Brown & Simmons could be gone at 7.

In this scenario, definitely move back a few slots and add assets. I wouldn't move back beyond 12 or 13, but if Vegas gets a wild hair up their ass to move up for their guy, we could benefit.

Which would put some butts in the seats while fielding a terrible D in hopes of landing Trevor next season.

It does make some sense in terms of balancing the two from Tepper’s perspective.

It wouldn’t be like 2010 where we were 32nd in the league in points per game with a measly 12.3
