I feel the same way about Charlotte now.  Visiting is fine, but I would not live there.  It once was a quaint, charming, mid-sized southern city. Now it's a large city, with all the large city problems that just happens to be located in the south.

Charlotte is basically baby Atlanta. Look at Atlanta at any given time and you're basically looking into a crystal ball to see Charlotte's future in 10 years.

Side Note: I wanna run for Atlanta City Council just so I can set up a project to create an intersection between 28th Street and 3rd Avenue.

Yep, Atlanta has always been Charlotte's model for growth.  Careful for what you wish for!  Growing up in Charlotte I had always heard about the rampant influx of northern transplants down there and how the joke was there was no such thing as an Atlanta native.  A couple of decades later, the joke's on us.

You have my vote if you can also get rid of the steel plates. Of course, that would cause the collapse of the worldwide steel industry...

Super nice area, 1 street over is “Winged Bourne” drive which is kinda like a social club of CEOs and athletes.

also it’s annoying how so many people move here and then poo on Charlotte even though they had to move here because their city was a rust belt shithole or they weren’t skilled enough to pay rent in their hometown. You HAD to move here so you aren’t any better than the region you’re shitting on.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
