Brady is old, and it showed last year. He doesn't really scare me that much.

Gronk does.

I know he's had a lot of injury issues, but when he can play, he's dangerous.

For some reason I was able to see several games hr played in, and he honestly didn't have any legit weapons besides Edelman. That's going to be hardly the case with the Bucs.

They pick 14th.

For some reason I thought they picked 11th. I’d actually want more than their 2nd this year and next.

To move up 7 spots in the 1st into the top 10 should be worth quite a bit. Especially to a team in the same division and one that should be going deep into the playoffs this season

Its about a 400 point difference, 1500-1100

Their 2nd (Pick 45) is worth 450 so we would probably have to thrown in a later pick to even it out.

Teams actually follow the chart fairly close.  Sometimes a team has some leverage but not like you are asking for.

I think Simmons would be better served to cover Evans

I know he was good coverage skills, but not cover the top WR as an outside CB good. I think Simmons would play the Safety/LB/Nickel role. It would be similar to how the Chiefs used Eric Berry to lock down Gronk.

There's been trade rumors since this season.

In fact, I can tell you this.  The Patriots offered a 1st for Howard This season.  I know several players in the Bucs lockers room who thiught he was gone.  But the GM held out and didnt accept the deal.

Umm, no idea who your sources are but there is no way the Patriots offered a 1st for Howard or that the Tampa GM would have turned it down. I am sure the players heard something and I’m not even doubting your connection but that smells like a keep the locker room happy by saying that we wouldn’t take a 1st for Howard instead of saying the truth that a 3rd would have gotten it done but they didn’t get it. Kind of like the Cam fiasco. Those players you know aren’t in the GM’s office.

Not us. We gave up pick 77 to move from 47 to 37. Our pick 100 was the exact gap value. 77 was worth more than twice as much as pick 100. That said, Marty would have just drafted Grier at 77.
