Dave was an ass but we won when he was here at a level we have never seen since. He was an ass and it got him fired but the players were out of control and bitching about contracts they shouldn't have been offered. Yall can also blame Ron for that because his guys were expected special treatment and this is where the train derailed. Ron never recovered and coached himself to the Redskins, Davis and Olsen are ghost and Dave is on his last chance in NY.

I find it funny that the guy who they are comparing him against was a gm for the dynasty bulls? So he was an ass but good at his job? I guess winning is not everything.

So pull for another team then. The franchise was already down hill and lost its franchise QB the last two seasons. He bought the team right before the previous season started and COULDNT make any changes then. Our team looked great before Cams arm failed him, then he gave one last season to see where he wanted to move the franchise. Obviously we know how that played out, Cams gone, Ron’s gone, and after the draft Hurney is gone. I know you wish this was the good ol days with Richardson, but we have been the perfect example of mediocrity waaaay before Tepper arrived. Tepper is investing more money than any owner in the league right now to make sure we have a competitive team in the next few seasons and we won’t be able to give honest judgement on how he builds a team until at least 3 more seasons. We were practicing in a hotel ballroom when it rained previously...

Im going to say i agree with the first part, but certainly the second. Ron was the worst roster manager. Constantly leaning on old dudes and never letting the younger guys play. May as well just trade our draft picks for existing vets, if thats your style.

Agreed, under Richardson players acted like the team owned them special favors cause they were "family". Dont remember alot of family friendly deals when guys were asked to take hometown discounts. You cant have it both ways. Its either cutthroat on both sides or not at all. Greg olsen was the worst offender and frankly im glad hes gone.

Compare the level of success we had while he was here to what we've had since. That's pretty much all you need to know.

Love Davis but Gettleman was right about both he and Olsen.

Krause broke up a 6 ring dynasty.

Gettlemen broke up a team that won exactly 0 championships. That went to the SB, but lost.  Heck the AZ Cardinals did that.

TD, love you, but you guys haven't earned any sort of sporting comparison to the 98 Bulls.
