We are building this team for 5 years from now. Not for next year. If Lamb can have a Julio Jones/DeAndre Hopkins effect here how is it not worth it?

Atlanta drafted Jones when they already had a Pro Bowl-level QB and they made it to the Super Bowl.  Jones is now one of the highest paid WR in the NFL.

Texas drafted Hopkins when they had no QB and Hopkins was good but Texas was still average-to-bad.  And Hopkins is now an NFL wanderer.

Didn't he pass on doing the agility drills at the combine?  I mean, I'm not judging him, I hope he gets drafted as high as possible and makes lots and lots of $$$.  But if what I remember is true, his putting on the weight you mention might mean he's trying to have the "I'm bigger!" cake and also eat the "I'm very quick and agile!" too.

He only did vert and broad jump. That said, even including safeties he was #2 in the 40 for all LBs and Ss. #6 in vertical for all LBs and Ss and #6 in broad jump for all LBs and Ss. I don't think for his size that he had any issues proving he was a ridiculous athlete.

@Verge

32. Chiefs: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU:
The rich get richer on offense, though I suspect they might trade out here and try to get him or a corner in the early 2nd. CEH can do it all on the offensive side of the ball and is a unique offensive weapon to force defense to play up even further, digging their own graves for the Tyreek Hill explosion. Final Grade: 87/100

You nailed it. Good poo.
