If I was Tepper, I would have MADE Hurney start and play Will all season, and just stared at him when he tried to justify the pick.

Why would you not want to give your best offensive weapon the best chance to succeed? He did what only 2 other backs have done with one of the worst OL I've ever seen. Get him a better line and watch what he can do. 2k1k wouldn't be out of the question.

The 2015 offense scoring wise was #1. Yardage wise (total and per play) we were around #11. I remember 11, not sure if total or per play. The 2015 offense was the top scoring O because they were solid and the D set them up on a silver platter. We were far and away the #1 team in takeaways. We averaged 3 takeaways a game, 1 full takeaway more per game than the average team. That’s how you go from top 10 yardage to first in scoring. We also were more efficient at turning scores into TDs instead of FGs.

Not to takeaway from 2015, but that was a great all around team*, not just Cam who also had an amazing season. QBs always get too much blame and credit.

* That’s why I laugh about the ignore D guys who think our offense can win games by itself. Our 2015 scoring barely beat out our 2019 shitty  points allowed. Would 2015 be remembered differently if we were 8-8?

Gettleman is a huge wildcard for us and his pick could potentially help one of our preferred guys to fall to us. I think he drafts a left tackle OR Derrick Brown. I know they just signed a IDL in free agency but Gettleman loves his DT’s. I think there is a good shot Brown is their pick and Simmons/Okudah falls to 7.

Bridgewater is only 26 and Rhule and Brady know him and love him. He very well could be looked at as our QB of the future for the next 5-10 years. I seriously doubt we give up a bunch of draft capital to move up and grab a QB. That literally makes 0 sense
