CMC was under contract for the next 2 years and the option to have been tagged for a 3rd which would be the entire length of the Bridgewater deal.

That probably had more to do with Cam wanting ‘commitment’ and the Panthers were smart not to pay him.

Either way, it’s a different premise. A lot of fans, mainly emotionally creepy fanboys, have a very hard time understanding political correctness of the media and how the  media works in general. 

Yoi’ve got to stop taking this whole Cam thing so personal. You can’t control it and who cares? Panthers will still be playing football without cam. The never ending butthurt was creepy at first but you legitimately might want to get help for it.

Right out of the gate Rhule has made it clear he is not going to give up much information about his plans for the future of this team. He'll put up a smokescreen and throw out some bullshit for the media to eat up. If you take what Rhule says to the media seriously, then be ready for a few shocking moments.

Building around Teddy makes me ill. I don't care how many weapons we put around him there will always be much better QBs who will outperform him and beat us. We need a better QB.

We are building for the next franchise QB whether it be Teddy or someone else. The idea is who they think Teddy can be, what Brady wants in a QB for his system.

That’s who their really building for...an ideal QB for their/Brady’s system. 

I hear you, but for right now and/or maybe for the next 3 years, our QB is Teddy Bridgewater, so that's who we're building around. It would be idiotic to attempt to build a team around a QB that isn't on your roster. Yes, you build for the future but through your current players. If by chance a player doesn't work out, then you'd attempt to replace that player with a player who fits what you've built...
