WTF... are we actually building a team around Teddy Bridgewater? The thought is horrifying.

No. He’s on a 3 year deal and if he sinks you can bet the staff will move on.

We are building for the next franchise QB whether it be Teddy or someone else. The idea is who they think Teddy can be, what Brady wants in a QB for his system.

That’s who their really building for...an ideal QB for their/Brady’s system.

I meant that in the literally sense, that that was Rons exact comments too... until game time happened. We’ll see if Brady and Rhule are any different. My hunch tells me no.

Not sure why your hunch tells you that. Brady would literally have to become the exact opposite of what he’s been for his whole coaching career to build a system that relies on running one player into the ground, a RB no less. Can’t see myself betting on that.

CMC’s threat comes with him being on the field. Not off field. Even if it isn’t his designated play. Plus you basically have to hog tie him to stay off the field as you obviously have seen if you watched any games. Especially last year.

@JourdanRodrigue
Panthers head coach Matt Rhule on
@wfnz
 on the “don’t pay RBs” argument: “Yeah...I don’t look at him as just a running back...we see him as a ‘weapon’”. Rhule also cites wanting McCaffrey to be in a core leadership role as he enters his coaching tenure.
