It’s looking more likely that NFL season will be cancelled.

Looks like they could have players wearing facemasks with N95 material during practice and games. Seems like a shot to make a seadon but I would think it could be a huge pain in the butt. Like playing training camp in August and games in September outside?

I have to wear those fuging things every day at work and I can attest to the fact that they do impede your breathing somewhat. The NFL needs to re-think that idea. You are gonna have guys falling out from those things or gassing pretty quickly.

I do wonder if putting the mask inside the facemask will help at all? It's deffinatly going to look weird but the rest I can only guess what else it affects. Summer just seems brutal if breathing is impeded.

Yeah, not happening. NFL doesn’t even want to pay out money to retired players who have scrambled eggs for a brain, they aren’t going to pay for some special type of face mask and I would be willing to bet no one wants to wear in South Florida in September.

The league will do whatever makes them more money. If that's mask in the facemask, they will. If there is a cheaper route, they will do that. They don't care about the retired because they don't earn anymore. This is about earning this year so it's on the table. No idea if they can pull it off. If guys can play in GB in December and January, I would think it's feasible if not miserable too.

Could you imagine training camp or early season games in Florida trying to wear one of those masks?  Ugh.

Agreed. I don't have to wear them everyday but I've worn them in the past. Doing heavy physical activity while wearing an N95 isn't a very reasonable suggestion for anyone who has actually spent much time wearing an N95.
