It’s looking more likely that NFL season will be cancelled.

NASCAR is going to be interesting. They are gonna race at tracks that they own, so there's no paying track owners. Other sports can't do that.

Yeah and they can do double headers like they are with Charlotte and some other track. (googled Darlington)

Either way, if we are allowed to, I'll go and if not I get a refund on season tickets I really didn't want buy this year anyway considering the rebuild.  Win-win.

Are you sure they'll give you a refund and not just make you pay for 2021 now so he can hold that money?

I'm not sure they can do that without the option for a refund.  I rather have the money in my bank account than the Panthers.

Night races during the week is gonna be big, but are teams willing to put the cars on the line for what could be a reduced payday?

Not sure how the revenue works but the TV deal probably keeps them afloat right. Some races barely have fans anyway.

Same thing with weekday baseball games.  You look at the stands and except for behind home plate and the outfield wall, the stands are generally sparse.  Not sure what MLB is holding on besides the bigger market teams like NY, Detroit and LA (areas hardest hit) to give their okay. Only the fanatics pay attention until playoff races anyway.

Its also a sport where the competition is the same with or without the crowds.  Cheering crowds don't really matter much to a driver until the race is over.

Haven't watched a race in a few years, but I might watch a few given that I am nearly burnt out on other things on TV.

The only ones hurting from that are the stadiums hosting those events overseas.  On the flip side, I bet the Jaguars' players are stoked they don't have two 'home' games in London this year.

    • Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?
    • Full disclosure I responded to this before fully reading the whole post. As if I had, I’d have laughed at you saying you haven’t seen a full route tree from him, as that’s EXACTLY what he has in his bag.  That right there just shows you haven’t watched him at all outside of the downfield highlight reel plays.  He already runs a full NFL level route tree, at all 3 levels.  As I’ve said numerous times before, XL is the big bodied possession guy, while T-Mac would be the true outside #1 who can do it all and a perfect compliment to XL.   Want to draft someone else all you want, that’s totally fair.  But don’t try and say he’s just a big bodied WR who lacks quickness and can’t run a full route tree, as it’s just the furthest thing from the truth.
    • My perfect offseason at QB would be trade Bryce, sign Lock (experience with Canales) and draft Ewers in the second or late in the first
