It’s looking more likely that NFL season will be cancelled.

This idea is completely absurd. The NFL season will 100% happen. It might look drastically different than normal including zero fans in attendance but the NFL will not cancel the season. That just won’t happen. There will be an abundance of options.

At some point we have to re-open the economy and get back to normal. This crap cannot stay closed for most of the year. You think the Great Depression was bad? That will be child’s play compared to what will happen if we stay shut down for much longer.

Let me guess---Republican, thinks Fox is news, and you have no family members that have been impacted.

You don't have to be a Faux News watcher to know that the country being in lockdown for 18 months would be an epic disaster unless the government plans on paying for huge swaths of the populace to live on their dime. This is already crippling for small businesses and regular workers. Imagine that at a much larger and longer scale.

It isn't sustainable.

We will be business as usual by June or July.  No worries about the NFL season.

If we aren’t you can kiss the life you have known goodbye.  The economy won’t recover from a long shutdown, for years and years.

Yes I know.  But I question the people whose focus is on the economy right now, and feel the need to promote a return to normalcy when they do not know if it is safe to do so or not.  The economy is not the big issue here---but there is a narrative being presented that makes people fear it is.  I am tired of all the fear mongering and misinformation when lives are at risk.  People need to stop forcing unhealthy agendas without knowing what they are encouraging people to do.  My family has 3 in hospitals right now.  Why? their preacher (my wife's cousin) told them to come to church--that the Virus is politicized by the left, and God will help them through it.  One will not make it.  So false narratives by blowhards who are using political fear tactics to influence social behaviors to jumpstart the economy have no idea what they are doing.  The only way this thing lasts 18 months is if morons don't stop forcing their misinformed ideologies on others.  Fear mongering, fake information flowing from our president--and carried to the four corners of the nation by mindless pigeons is how this thing relapses and lasts that long.

I come here to talk football.  Not promote some distorted propaganda designed to re-elect an idiot.
How bout that CMC contract, huh?

Only you would be that closed minded and not see that shutting down businesses for the majority of the year would have a very negative affect on people and the economy. You want every business (not naming essential businesses) to go belly up and close down? Because that is the road we are headed down if we keep this for much longer.

this is not partisan thinking, it’s COMMON SENSE.

You come here to talk football, but spew nothing but partisan hate, using your own opinion on this matter without any factual evidence. Maybe you need to look into the mirror.
