It’s looking more likely that NFL season will be cancelled.

Everyone follows someone. There is no such thing as a free thinker.

You’re correct I have a masters in Chemistry and work in environmental chemistry research... I choose to follow the truth and seek the truth daily. Fox News and CNN both couldn’t be further from the truth. This is no different than being told climate change is a hoax for the last 20 years until the sheep believe it.

The $2,000 per month that Canadian residents have been getting since January is (socialism is the devil!). Zero accountability that our president stood there on a podium in March at his cult rally telling everyone this was a hoax by the democrats.

$2k? That’s nice but it still wouldn’t cover the basic expenses of a lot of people. That’s basically my mortgage, insurance, property taxes, and a weeks worth of groceries.

I have a lot more expenses than that.

Even if it did work for most, a ton of businesses would still go under taking jobs with them.

It’s better than waiting until April because our president wants his name on the check, it’s a publicity stunt.

It’s impossible to get the truth and deep understanding from 7 min segments in between commercials. Especially, when those segments are designed to get ratings via fear and confirmation bias.

Barely, the end result is the same.

It’s awful... read. People need to read scientific data and bipartisan world news. That’s it and even then you have to know how to source your data and news to get to the truth.

16m filed for unemployment just in the last 3 weeks, thousands of small businesses have gone under, families all across the nation will have their lives permanently altered by this, yet the majority of Americans aren't saying a peep bc the media hysteria has completely brainwashed people into buying into something that has killed 1/4th the amount of people who died in 2018 from the seasonal flu.

Not only that, the numbers are being highly inflated bc how they're literally classifying any flu related death as a coronavirus death, not to mention the people in hospice who are literally on their death bed with grave underlying conditions who contact the coronavirus are being thrown in the same pool.

It's just comical how the states have completely justified a breach of our civil liberties and constitutional rights over a public health scare. If Americans fall for this, the state can literally weaponize any so called "pandemic" and shut down the entire country whenever they feel fit. Sad and very scary times we're living in right now

So I'm guessing you think there are ailens at area 51 a la Independence Day.

50 independent governors from both sides of the isle have made the decision to issue Shelter In Place orders.  This is not some Big Gubmint attempt to seize power and turn you into a surf.  Its actually FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

I just hate when people look for loop holes to justify their reasoning. Covid-19 without social distancing and shelter in place has the potential to kill millions in this country. Economic fallout obviously also has huge repercussions. I’m here to survive and make sure my loved ones survive, I get on unemployment and find a job later if laid off. The economy will bounce back as it always does but bringing back loved ones from death is an impossibility that I would live in a cardboard box before risking. That’s just me, others have different opinions but people can’t  sugar coat it by trying to down play the reality of what this virus is to justify their political affiliation.

Republicans act like only democrats implemented shelter in place and that only republicans care about the economy.

Democrats actually set the precedent (Cali and then New York followed), two of the biggest economies in the world if they stood alone as their own countries, and then republican states were pressured by the same bs fear mongering.

Also, it's funny you blaming trump, when it was literally the NY health commissioner in February who told New Yorkers that the coronavirus wasn't a big deal and encouraged people to go on subways, eat at their favorite restaurants, and go to parades. She also said new Yorks preparedness was high. Loll but I'm sure your news outlets didn't cover that.

I completely agree that this virus has the potential to kill millions. So does massive unemployment, homelessness, hunger, hopelessness, etc. I don’t think there is a good answer really. Bad either way.

In the end, fear will win out. What are more people afraid of? The virus or severe economic loss. Considering the pictures of the miles long lines at food pantries, I’m thinking fear of economic loss will win out.
