It’s looking more likely that NFL season will be cancelled.

Yea those death rates from the coronavirus are not quite legitimate, they're almost literally reporting any death as coronavirus related right now.

This death was reported as related to the coronavirus but after the baby tests negative they tell the truth, the baby died from premature birth.

https://www.wafb.com/2020/04/06/one-day-old-girl-dies-covid-la/

The CDC even release guidelines stating "Ideally, testing for COVID–19 should be conducted, but it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate without this confirmation if the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty."

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/vsrg/vsrg03-508.pdf

Are people dying of the virus? Yes, but to blindly state that is the cause without testing and autopsy results means those numbers aren't authentic.

Yea that’s for sure a confounder to the statistics. People having covid but dying of other causes. But how much did the virus expedite the process of the other causes of death? Without covid the baby may have survived the premature birth. Technically you die from pneumonia, pneumonia induced by covid.

If someone has Alzheimer’s and it induces kidney failure they died from Alzheimer’s not kidney failure.

You honestly believe over 2 mil people would have died to COV-19 with a little over 80% of patients experience mild symptoms?

hell CDC reports almost 50% of people carrying COV-19 don’t even know they have it.

CDC also reports 8 out of 10 deaths from COV-19 have been from people 65+ in age.

So just because a virus might be more contagious doesn’t mean it has a 100% mortality rate. Your numbers are bull crap. Just like how they said 240K will die, then they reduced it down to less than 100k in a week .

Oh. And instead of throwing your partisan BS into this conversation, how about you acknowledge the  fact that both political sides (president to governors To mayors) are putting their politics aside and are working together for the common good. You know, the N.Y. mayor and CA governor who have both publicly pointed out that the president has basically given them all they needed and they are working together?

Mild symptoms for covid include anything and everything up until hospitalization where it is then deemed severe progression to a ventilator equals critical.

I love how seemingly everyone who makes these claims about coronavirus deaths being widely over-reported and misclassified all desperately cling to a small handful of anecdotal instances to justify their positions. First hand reports of many, many other front line medical professionals be damned. That's propaganda.

Yep. My friend's mom had been battling cancer for a while. She got the virus and died on Sunday.

I’m sorry to hear that but weakening the immune system to the point that covid can makes it near impossible to fight preexisting conditions.

So of all the ailments a human being can die from, especially the elderly, it's categorized as a Corona virus related deaths as long as they had a symptom or was in contact with/near someone that was confirmed?  That's an assumption.  Heck, a lot of elderly people have COPD or emphysema which are breathing ailments.

emphysema is COPD

no one dies of one thing.

when i die of liver failure, the doctors won't say the cause of my death was reading your posts

when you clearly died of ARDS, that's something new, not your preexisting condition.

or are you that kind of person that says guns down kill people but bleeding out does

Agreed... and we all know that A simply isn't an option...

Do you really think people will just return back to normal life just because certain activities reopen? I have the option of working remotely, I will not be “stimulating” the economy until there’s a vaccine that is approved. I owe that to the loved ones I live with and people in my community, this is bigger then myself and being bored.

Vaccines help  4/10 times. Meaning you will be wasting 1 1/2 years of your life for a 40% reduction.

Covid is now apart of our lives, we need treatment, NOT vaccines.
