Rivera rarely put his players in a position to succeed.  This is just more evidence of that

Not sure I agree.

Ron mad shitty players  average, and god players average and great players average. So he did put players in a position to succed.. If they were shitty players.

No more overpaid than Shaq. I'd rather be overpaying a CB than a non-pass rushing LB.

Shaq was probably our best defender last year. I’ve been a Shaq hater even since he was drafted. But liked what I saw last year. That was a good deal for him. Shaq is not overpaid. Just look at Kwon and Mosley’s deals from the past year.

Always hard to replace those guys you simply don't have to worry about, but may have never been the very best in the NFL at their positions.

Gross, Gamble, Bradberry, Norwell, etc....

They just come to work, do a good job, never miss games, and keep to themselves....tough players to replace.

And he happened to play ILB last year, I see him moving to MLB with Tahir at ROLB using a base nickel scheme. Now we need a nickel corner and another outside guy wich in hoping to snag in the draft. I think we can get a starting outside guy with our 2nd pick and the nickel later as this draft is deep.

I think we have a good chance at getting someone like Diggs or Fulton in the 2nd

Sometimes Ron moved Special Team players to Safety and watched them get torched.

I like both those guys after Henderson, I wouldn't think he would but a few places have him slipping late first to early 2nd. I would trade up to snag the kid if he fell into range but was in danger of being taken. Luckily we pick early in the second so he's gonna get close thanks to depth at other positions. He would be one of the few guys I would trade up for because it looks like he could step straight in for Bradberry and if you trade into the back of the 1st you get that 5th year option!
