My point is that there's definitely a chance that the DT, LB, and CB all go earlier than #7. I don't think that'll happen, but it's certainly possible and if it does happen, it's highly likely the best option remaining for us will be our top OT.

All of the OTs have question marks or at least limitations.  Wills is the most Pro ready, IMO.  However, he limited up side and is purely a RT.   Wirfs has technique issues and plays "heavy".  That's the reason some project him as a guard and to be fair, he'd be an All-Pro/Pro Bowler at RG.  Becton was a Combine warrior and you have to worry about that.  He was nearly unanimously OT #4 until the Combine.  He tested well and shot up folk's BB.  Thomas is a lunch pail guy.  He should be what we thought we were getting out of Little...a serviceable starting LT, not a franchise LT.

Too many needs for one draft. If we can get Wirfs that would be a great start. Moton is the only lineman we have worth a damn. And we have no DT worth a damn either. Ideal scenario would be Wirfs then a couple DTs for 2 and 3rd picks.

Every prospect has question marks.

True, but if we stay at #7, that draftee better not have more than one or two.  The 7th pick is too valuable for guys with several holes in their game.

A lot of it comes down to scheme fit and the individual player. There are very few prospects that check each and every box physically and even a lot of those guys end up busting. It's why prospect evaluation will always be far more of an art than a science despite every effort to quantify it as much as possible.
