If he wasn't it would be stupid to hand the job to Little, Daley or a rookie this year... They tried it last year with a "7 mill" guy and he sucked so bad he got Cam killed.. So Hopefully bringing in a better quality Vet is the answer to help transition your already drafted assets...

Did you expect a rookie OT with way below the practice reps (due to injuries) to be thrown into the fire a play well??? If you did then your expectations levels need to be checked...

  So if Little plays LT well this year, it means nothing? Because if his faults can’t be discussed without blood vessel’s bursting, nothing he does well matters either. And Greg Robinson is your example? That’s adorable. He has forever sucked. 
 

   Or do we just continue to cherry-pick what is.....ah hell forget it. I’m passed playing list of excuses for everything. Just make up whatever you need to be right. That’s where this ends up anyhow.

You want to build your line around a freaking 6th round draft pick that played like poo?  The levels that people go to making excuses for Hurney is insane.

In a perfect world he gets some practice reps some pre season snaps and sits most of the season getting spot duty here and there... This Hopefully is a learning season not a playing season  most of the year.. And then 4 or 5 games near the end of the season he might get some run.....  And if he plays well then you have the start of a LT for the future conversation... Just like any other rookies not expected to start day 1...

You can bring up his faults but add some fuging context... [He get crushed in a game but he didn't really have a full offseason program or enough practice reps to be successful when thrown to the fire]... You see?? That isn't that hard to make criticism but add context to your criticism..

I want to see what the 2nd and 6th rounder can develop into before I give up on them after only 4 GAMES...

Unlike you I actually know that rookie LT don't come in a dominant most don't play well at all...Add in the fact that neither had a full offseason.. Which is needed to make this transition.. So I understand why they didn't look like Jonthan Ogden in 4 games... Sorry

What I want or what Rhule wants? He'll probably build the d-line, add a CB, add some depth. I'm not expecting anything exciting offense wise. It's going to be a slow painful rebuild. We're headed for the middle of the pack in the next couple of seasons imo.

We need DTx2, CBx2, LB, S, DE and C.  I know that's one heavy, but maybe we trade down and get another pick.  Now, based on value, if we end up with an OT, or a WR I wouldn't necessarily upset.  This will be a defense heavy draft, however.

We have so many needs just about every position has a hole, so it can actually be both.  We aren't getting a starting QB out of this draft, TE is stupid weak this year, we filled WR gaps in FA and drafting a RB to watch CMC is pointless.  Subtract specialist and you have about every position I listed.  Drafting BPA should cover most needs, because we have plenty of them.

Why is everyone ignoring we still need a LT. Okung is often injured.
