WTF is up with that skeleton mob in the werewolf lair (after the ghostly child stops bitching)? I'm playing on hard, currently at level 10 and fug me did they destroy me every reload.

I had to drop the difficulty down - there's literally no tactic to beating them, it's just a straight up challenge of your characters. Apparently mine aren't strong enough because everybody died every time.

It took me a few tries also, I uh got lucky eventually.

If it's what I'm thinking of you have to stay at range with everyone and spread out. Give a bow to every non-mage, heal whoever gets targeted and just wither him down.

ya I did this level last and killed it quick...but you need to be careful and make sure and have wynn as your healer. get as many lyrium viles as you can so you can keep resetting her mana...keep that up and you should be straight

I'm talking about the thousands of skeletons that attack you. I don't have Cone of Cold and apparently Sleep does nothing to them. It's a melee and I'm getting my ass handed to me.

then you need to get out of the level....go towards the dwarven city..youll get stopped by the merchant and you need to download the content and get shale...go back to your earlier level..use yourself, alistair, shale and wynn and you will kick some ass

I managed to get past them, just, only to be swamped by unstoppable werewolves. Seriously, they can appear out of thin air and just throw your characters to the ground? Really?

you might want to turn your difficulty down if its this hard to get past this level...this is by far the easiest level of the whole game...wait till you get to the death trenches...

Redcliffe was easy, this is fuging ridiculous.

I'm thinking about rolling without Allistair at this point. He just seems more worthless as I progress my warrior, even though I don't use a shield.

Any one else using a less traditional setup?

Redcliffe was easy, this is fuging ridiculous.

trust me it is going to get much harder....the death trenches and the broken circle of mages was alot harder imo...

by getting shale things have helped out alot...once you go to the mages circle you get wynn too...she is very good at keeping your camp healthy

It's only difficult because Sten and Ali appear to be rubbish at not dying. I destroyed the Arcane Horror no problem, it's when 8 werewolves rush through a door and nothing stops them. Maybe I've built my characters wrong.

I did the whole story alot different than you...I did redcliff ofcourse..then I went and did the circle of mages...recieved wynn who has helped tremendously, then I went to the dwarven city got the dwarf guy (forgot his name), then I did this level. Once I received those characters I have been destroying people.(including getting Shale) If it is getting too overwhelming get out of the level and do it they way I did. Now I am at the Landsmeet and destroying everyone in my path!!
