so what endings did you guys have?

My first playthrough I offered to rule with Anora since Alistair was being a whiny bitch about it. But then he ended up leaving once I saved Loghain and apparently became a wandering drunk.

I liked Alistair despite his being a wimp so now on my second playthrough I hardened him after his personal quest so hopefully he'll stay on as king even though he leaves my party when I save Loghain again (seriously, how do you kill the greatest general Ferelden has ever known? None of my end games will have Loghain killed. Plus I get the feeling he was being misled by Howe more than just being an evil asshole. Overall he felt that he did what he thought was best for Ferelden. Gotta respect that.)

Oh I let Morrigan have her archdemon hellchild both times. I figure even if it comes to bite me in the ass later I'll just kill it. No reason for me to have to die now regardless.

I just barely finished this up, so I probably won't have another run so soon. I'm good with all of my decisions, so I don't feel that need to correct things.

The $5 DLC wasn't so great, but I didn't expect much. It wasn't bad enough to scare me off future DLC like they did with ME1. I think they've learned from that. I'm glad it starts you up where it does, I've got things left to do. Especially now that I've got Duncan's sword begging for enchantments.

I'm excited about the expansion, but I know we won't hear much more about Morrigan. Not everyone likes her, but I'd love to find out what happens next after my ending. I'm sure they'll keep her hidden until enough years have passed by to make the (possible) child an issue.

Thanks for the info. I figured they had said something with all the socializing they do online, but I haven't been following DA news for a while. That makes sense. I hope I have my save files around when that game comes out. I guess you can burn those files and add them later easy enough, so I should back them up.

Yeah definitely a smart idea. I lost my ME1 save a few months ago and had to do another playthrough super quick before ME2 came out. I keep them on an external HD now.

I imagine the expansion(s) will alter the save games even more though.

looks like there will be another Dragon Age expansion. Could be DA2 but like I mentioned in the Mass Effect spoilers thread, I don't see that happening so soon.

They sure seem to be cranking it out these days. If Awakening is as meaty as they are acting, I wouldn't be shocked either way.

On my third play of this game (made it roughly 1/2 way with my mage before I quit on it, beat it with a dwarf warrior, and now a human rogue) and I absolutely love this game. The only real complaints I have about it are the lack of non-warrior gear.

Also in my 3rd play I decided to choose Morrigan instead of Lelianna. So I bang Lelianna in the 3 some, but eventually tell her I choose Morrigan, sleep with Morrigan and all is well. Just recently after a few talks I ended up getting the I love you and invite to my tent from Lelianna. So now I've slept with both and they're both in their "I love you" responses...not sure how that happened.

I did that with Zevran and Morrigan at once. It SHOULD eventually come to a boiling point.

Factor in all those games with the $10 extra in price that someone is likely to buy for the xbox until the next gen console comes out, and the difference between an xbox and a gaming PC isn't that great.

Plus PC gaming has many more advantages than just cheaper games.

That being said consoles do have their place with certain genres of games.

The only genre on consoles that doesn't have a place is RTS.

I just got this game and I have a question.

What do you prefer? Two-handed, Dual wield, or weapon and sheild? Which one is the best?
