I didn't mean to type that I wanted to keep drafting QBs until we have a franchise QB. That didn't come out right and I don't agree with that. I mean that I would like to draft QBs until we have a QB who appears to have great potential in the way if plays. Sometimes you can have a QB who looks like a franchise QB right out of the gate, but I wouldn't require that for the first season.

I read somewhere that Gallimore is dropping.  Not sure why.

It's a mixed bag on Gallimore. I've seen him as the #2 to the #5 DT, the later being a one-off.  His knock is while he's explosive off the line (the most explosive DT, IMO), he can get re-directed.  So he and Brown are polar opposites.  That can be coached up though on how to shed blocks and use leverage to his advantage.  He's a big man that's a really good athlete.  Technique can be fixed.  He's a 3-tech and in the mold of KK...a pass rushing DT.  If drafted, that will give us some leverage with KK down the road.

Muse has grown on me.  He's definitely more of a pure athlete than a honed skill player.  While he could stay at FS, I think he'd be used well in an attacking mode rather than a DB.  He can use that FS background when dropped in coverage though.  I agree, it may take him a couple of years to get LB down like TD, but I think you would have a similar success story.

Chinn is all over the place.  Some BBs never moved him up from the 4th round and after the combine, I've seen him as high as the mid-second.  I think he's a low 2nd to top of the 3rd selection, IMO.  I can't see taking him in the second, but he's not going to last to the 4th.  That's the reason I've consistently mocked him in the 3rd.

Just did this mock draft. What happened to Dugger and Leki?  I haven't heard anything and was surprised I could pick them so late in the draft.

Did you do the most current BB on Fan Speak?  If so CBS's BB is a hot mess.  I tried it once already and stopped halfway through the simulation because it made zero sense.  There are only a few BBs I rely on and CBS is not one of them.  There are some garbage BBs out there.

A QB is not a glaring need and we actually need defensive and offensive players along with a few other positions that are a must have not being a QB.

I hope Rhule doesn't go all homer on his old players.  I've mocked Roy in the 6th a good bit, but that's because in likelihood he's the best NT remaining that late.  It has nothing to do with Baylor.  There's so much better value in round 3 than Lynch.

The posters draft was not bad but we need to go for a CB in Rd #2  when there will be a few good ones available that won't make it to Rd #3. Several good Guards or Defensive line should be there when we pick in Rd #3.

That is exactly where this came from, and you are correct, it is a hot mess.

Fan Speak Steve is a good BB to use.  That's the reason it's the default BB.
