Find the franchise QB first, then build up the lines. We have the 7th pick and no franchise QB. Easy choice.

I don't think at 7 we will be looking at a sure fire franchise QB. The guys that might be there are question marks. You don't want to take a chance a miss on a pick at 7. A franchise QB is nothing without decent lines. Ask our last one

First round:  How do you pass on Okudah at #7?  (A: You don't--we would be getting crazy trade offers)  I would take CB Okudah and laugh.

Second round:  (Assuming we take Brown in first):  You take a fourth round G in front of all the CBs when you have no CBs on the roster?  I take Xavier McKinney (S) or grab CB Diggs or Johnson.   I am telling you folks, we have Daley and Reed competing at LG (Reed is better than anyone realizes--not great, but better all-around that GVR) and Miller at RG.  G is not as big a need as people think---yes, we should address G, but they have added 2 guards in free agency).  Trust me--the second round (unless a first round talent falls to us) is where we are going to get our next starting CB.  There are simply too many good ones in that range.

Third round:  In the third round, I would take  DT Jordan Elliot if I took Okudah in the first and McKinney in the second.  It is a bit late for DT, but we have Kerr (NT) and Short (3T) already.  Elliot is underrated and will take KK's job soon.  If we follow this draft genius' model, (DT, OG, then why in the hell would you take a TE (A: cause he read about Olsen leaving that one time)?  Using his first 2 godawful picks, I would take CB Gladney here.

Fourth Round: I would take Miami's Shaq Quarterman, MLB, here.

Fifth Round:  I would go with Florida DE Jonathan Greenard.  He is 6-3, 265, and is good against the run and has flashed vs. the pass.  He has a lot of upside, and could become a starter.  A good athlete.  Combine:  https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jonathan-greenard?id=32194752-4539-7948-6c85-f4afd61fadd6

Fifth Round:  I would take another rough prospect (one that needs to get stronger--fixable problem) that is a good athlete for the position, OT.  Saahdiq Charles, OT, LSU.

Sixth Round: I actually like this pick--Simon Stepaniak, C, Indiana.  He has G experience and strength (37 reps at combine) in his upper body.  His struggles at G are eliminated at C, and he is smart enough to call schemes.  Big hands, high motor, willing to develop.  A year on the bench, backing up G and C, and we could have our next starting C, if not a solid backup at 3 positions.

Seventh Round:  Here you want to find some hidden gem who has a shot to make the roster.  Without hesitation, I would take Kindle Vildor, CB, Ga Southern here.  With Okudah and Jackson, we still need a CB.  https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kindle-vildor?id=32195649-4c06-9215-f779-0561e1953584

Of course, it would be hard to pass on Florida International's QB James Morgan---I just do not see where we have room on the roster--but maybe the PS--for Grier.

To summarize, using his board, here is what I did:

1. Jeff Okudah, CB

2. Xavier McKinney, S

3. Jordan Elliot, DT

4. Shaquille Quarterman, ILB

5. Jonathan Greenard, DE

5. Charles Saahdiq, OT

6. Simon Stepaniak, C

7. Kindle Vildor, CB
