Mine loves to tear up palm fronds and make nests - she has laid several dozen eggs over the years -of course without a mate they never hatch - I think this year though she has finally run out of eggs  - I hope so - but she keeps working on her nest regardless.  We also have a little male Budgie who is her adopted husband.  He tries to help out in nest making activities when they are out on our screened in back porch " aviary".

Interesting. The nurse I know is in Virginia. She posted this on her Facebook looking for someone to make one for her.

She’s made close to 500 so far, most are going to local hospitals in Hampton Roads.

    She is at Spartanburg Regional. She works in ER with the sister in law. We worry for both of them. They came up with the buttons when their ears started hurting. Pretty ingenious considering who came up with the idea. lol
