Teddy Time is here!

8-8 worst case, probably revising upwards when future defensive signings are announced.

Lotta naysayers out there have zero conception of how incredibly skilled/talented this coaching staff is...no doubt a top-4 (maybe top-2) staff in the League before the 1st snap has even taken place.

Rhule's staff is the inverse to Rivera's inept staff that never maximized potential of any player --- Rhule's Rules will result is most all players exceeding expectations...

This is going to be a LOT of fun!!

Not trying to bash you, but I don't get why some fans want us to draft a QB this year....especially when it could be Herbert/Tua/Love - each with question marks.

We just brought in the best QB on the FA market not named Brady and also brought in a young prospect that dominated the XFL to see if he can translate over to the NFL.

Same with fans that want to use the #7 pick on Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs..... we just brought in four new WRs, and re-signed another.

Both of these positions, IMO, are luxury selections in 2020 for round 1 or 2. The offense is going to hum this year with a very, very young unit.

Because Teddy Bridgewater is a known commodity who couldn't beat out old man Brees to become the Saints next franchise QB. Why? Because he's not a franchise QB. A known commodity that is not known as a franchise QB. If he was the Aints would have kept him/paid him. They didn't.

They're not too high on him and he was in their building for two years I think.

The Panthers should have been in the market for a QB. Unfortunately, the signing of Bridgewater likely means the QB position is ignored this year. Furthermore, it means that at least one year is added to any reasonable chance of real competitiveness for the Panthers. That will not come with Bridgewater.

IMHO, the signing of Bridgewater was absolutely the dumbest thing the Panthers could have done this off season. He is a weak-armed QB who will, at best, be a game manager. The most TDs he has ever thrown is 14 and his wins tend to require his defensive unit to hold teams below 20 points (not likely with this team).

Clearly, those in the Panthers' brain-trust (Hurney) that believed only a retooling was needed won the day. This team was in need of a complete rebuild. I would go so far as to say it is currently the least talented team in the NFL. This is not an environment where a QB like Bridgewater can thrive. What a waste.

I hope I am wrong. I hope Bridgewater has a greatness that has never been manifest and/or the Panthers draft a franchise QB this year. If I am honest, I think both are pipe dreams at this point.

You are all over it.

Hurney will make a trade happen so we get Herbert and Gruden will laugh his ass off.

How does that even make sense? We pick before the Raiders and will probably already be in a position to take Herbert at our pick if we want him, so what will the Raiders have to do with that?

Does anything Marty Hurney does make sense?

Teddy just turned 27 in November, career wise just in the 2nd inning stretch.

Luke Brees, Teddy knows how to avoid a hit and is in it for the long haul.

Chances are excellent Teddy develops similarly to Brees -- amazing to think we could have our QB situation nailed down for the next decade plus!

I wanted Herbert last year with our mid first round pick.... he chose to stay for another year and most likely helped himself draft wise....but with Bridgewater and our WR/RB situation I think we are set to compete.  We need OL help and another receiving TE and we should finish upper middle of the NFC possibly fighting for a Wildcard.  Our defense is going to be a mess.

Maybe it's me, but if the Raiders are interested in Herbert, I feel sorry for Herbert.  The Raiders remind me of one of those teams that is never going to quite figure it out.  They have gone down that path a few times before.  I don't think Chucky is going to get them over the hump.

Bridgewater has extremely high sack rate statistics. His career sack rate is 8.3%(6.0% at the Saints who had an excellent line).

Drew Brees career sack rate is 3.9%(3.6% with the Saints).

Cam's career sack percentage behind an atrocious OL? 6.8%

Teddy is very poor at avoiding hits.

Remember Chucky is obsessed with QB's. He did this poo in Tampa too.
