DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel ...with those three you have solid options at WR. Not to mention depth. 

Throw in CMC .. we are about a TE away from being "potentially" unstoppable on Offense IMO.  

Samuel is stupid bad. A guy that can never get open trying to beat the opposing team’s #2 and #3 DB.

If we were to draft Juedy, then Samuel becomes a 3rd option.  Would you take a 2nd or 3rd for a guy who might get 30 targets?  I could see them thinking like that.

Also wasn't Samuel a DG guy?

Maybe the rumor was put out to gauge interest if they decide to draft Juedy.  Of course you deny it, just incase you don't draft a WR.

well, Samuel dropped an enormous percentage of balls thrown his way. but he also had one of the worst percentages of "catchable balls" thrown his way last season.

I think Samuel is some place between "better than his numbers suggest" and "not nearly as good as the Huddle thinks."

If herniay had a brain, hed sign Samuel to decent deal right now. Around 7 million per for 4 years. Yes hes got a couple negatives- poor hands, route tree, etc. He also has a few positives too. CMC said the guy has elite level foot speed and CMC is a master at that. I can not believe the number of times where he was WIDE-dee-hell-OPEN and didnt get a target. Hes still very young and has experience, thats rare combo. Plus the best part is his value is at its lowest, surprise the fans and sign Moton and Samuel!

I don't think he's all-pro but as a number #2 in an offense that he's probably the third option in..he put up solid numbers. Over 700 total scrimmage yards. He also lead the team in receiving TD's. He would have arguably had over 1k and 10+ TD's if not for the underthrows. Not too bad for a #2.

He's in contract year so we'll see one way or the other. If he's still on the roster that is.

Samuel was widely considered a trade candidate the second Anderson was signed because he played a similar role last season.  Joe just seems to be late to the game because this info was leaked right after Anderson was signed.

If this report is true then it might be an indication that the team intends to take advantage of Samuel's all around skillset this season though.
