I just dont know if he is a safety or LB in the league. You must have a position in the NFL, its better to be a monster at one rather than Pretty good at multiple. That can fly in college but not in the pros when you talk about being a All pro player. I think he is capable of being really good at either one that is the lock in position.

Would you take Derwin James over Brown?  over Okuda?  If so that is why you take Simmons

I think there is a good chance though he goes to Giants at 4.

Also if the Redskins were to trade back, say with the Dolphins I could see them taking him at 5.  Ron likes his LB types.  He might play him as a more athletic Luke.

Of Okuda, Brown and Simmons I think Simmons is the least likely to fall to us.

With Luke gone and Simmons versatility I could see us taking him. He really allows mixing up and disguising the plays.

i would say Simmons or Okudah for the pick.

I'm cool with it but think he's gonna be a Giant.  DG shored up their OL in the FA but only moderately helped out the defense in much need of a leader.

Simmons is like a 6'4" Honey Badger. I think positionless athletes are more of the norm now in the NFL and Simmons will find his way. He and Shaq (who was a poor man's version of him coming out of UW) would be amazing. 

Okudah is 1A for me, but Simmons is right there beside him at 1B. 

I wouldn't mind Brown, but I will be disappointed if we don't end up with Okudah or Simmons at 7.

Marty Hurney is probably just dying to pick Simmons. Honestly after thinking it over this might be the most exciting player we could draft. All I know is the top of this draft is loaded.

There are some good DTs later that are not much of a step down from Kinlaw and Brown, but the step down from Simmons is large.

I take Simmons in the first (barring a trade back) and then grab a CB in round 2----what about DT?  (this is why you trade back, but...)

We have 2 veteran DTs right now.  We are overestimating the need, but it is a need.  CB is now a bigger need.    So I take a DT (a decent one will be there in the 3rd)

In the fourth, I go with a C to develop.

In the fifth round, I go with a G or T.  Both would be developmental.

I also find another DT--someone will fall.  NT/UT preferably.
